Player for a Day-Letter to Senior Parents

 Dear Senior Parents:

It is hard to believe it is that time of the year.  Senior night is this Friday. It

has been a pleasure to work with this group of seniors.  They are amazing

young men.  They work hard in the classroom, and they excel on the field.

This past Friday was a tough loss for us.  A lot of bad things happened in the first quarter and we dug too big of a hole to get out of.

This Friday I would like to invite all of the senior parents to "A Player for a

Day" activities.  You are invited to be a part of the pre-game talk at the middle school auditorium and the pre-game practice on the field.  You are also welcome to join us for the halftime talk and adjustments, as well as on the field after the game for the post game talk.  We are very proud of what we are building here and want you to have a unique opportunity to see what your son does on game nights.

Prior to the game at 6:15 we will meet in the East end zone.   The football team will have a tunnel down the middle of the field for you and your son.  You will walk down the tunnel, turn left and stand on the sideline side of the numbers starting at the 35 yard line.  This year we are blessed to have 17 seniors on our football team.

When all of the senior football players are introduced, please say your final

words of encouragement and we will begin with our pre-game warm-ups.

Thank you for all that you do.  Thank you for the opportunity to work with your son.  Being a part of the Mount Vernon Football family is something that lasts a lifetime.  If there is ever anything I can do, please let me know.

Go Mustangs!
