Coach Brandon Glaza went to Waukee High School where he played football and ran track. Coach Glaza then went to UNI and graduated with a BS in Industrial Technology Education. Coach Glaza taught Industrial Tech and coached football and track at Madrid High School from 2007 to 2015.  Most recently, he coached track and football at Lisbon High School from 2018-2020. Coach Glaza is  currently the Teaching Pastor at Community Bible Church in Mt Vernon.
 

Coach Glaza's wife Rachael is a middle school special education teacher at Mount Vernon and they have 4 daughters: Lyla (15), Alexi (14), Raegan (10), & Piper (10). They moved to Mount Vernon in 2015. Coach Glaza enjoys riding his motorcycle, boating with the family, and cheering on the Chiefs.
