Eric Krob

Coach Krob joins the Mount Vernon football family for the start of the 2021 season.

Coach Krob has been blessed with a wonderful family which includes wife Stacy as well as sons TJ, Thatcher, Truman, Junior, Teague, Watson, and Stanley.

Coach Krob attended Central College in Pella, IA and had the privilege of playing football for Hall of Fame coach Ron Schipper.  Upon graduating from Central College with a degree in Economics, Coach Krob started a career in small business development and ownership.

Coach Krob has coached the game of football at various age levels for the past 20 years.

“It is truly my privilege to be welcomed into the Mount Vernon football family.  I truly believe football is the greatest game ever invented.  The game of football teaches all involved the importance of commitment, hard work, and the pursuit of excellence.  There is no greater sporting feat to witness than that of watching 11 individuals working in perfect harmony to achieve a goal greater than that which they could ever achieve alone.”
