Coach Jason Nosek is in his 10th year of coaching football at Mount Vernon.  Coach Nosek is a Mount Vernon Alum (class of 1989) and a graduate of Luther College (1993), where he graduated with a B.S. and had the opportunity to play football, and wrestle for the Norse. 

            During his time with Mount Vernon Coach Nosek has had the opportunity to coach Quarterbacks, Special Teams, Tight Ends, Outside Linebackers and was the JV Defensive Coordinator. In 2024, coach Nosek will be coaching Offensive Line and Outside Linebackers at the varsity Level. 

            Coach Nosek and his wife Julie also a Mount Vernon Alum (Class of 1990) have two sons Aidan who is a Senior playing football for Central College and Brody who is a Senior and a current Mustang football player.  Coach Nosek and his family reside in Mount Vernon where he enjoys family and children’s athletic events as well as spending time at the family cabin fishing.
